New Gotham, Saturday
"Braaaaaains," Dinah chanted at Gabby. "Huuuuuuungrrrrryyy..."

"You need more blood on your face, hold still," her roomie answered.

The accoutrements of zombification were everywhere around their apartment. As well as the canned goods needed for their entry fee.

Now all they needed was an army.

[ooc: for those going zombie-walking! threads up in a second.]

Re: And the Aftermath

Hannibal nodded to her and looked around at the wounded. "Are we doing triage for the EMTs, or is it only minor injuries?"

Re: And the Aftermath

"Little of this, little of that," Gabby said breezily. "Mostly we've got sprains from people trying to get the hell away from that thing, bruises from panicking into each other, and some broken bones. I put all those guys over there--" She pointed to what had previously been a water station, now converted with a big red cross on it. "Everything else, I figure we can treat here or tell people to head to urgent care if they can walk." She huffed a breath. "The fun never stops."

Re: And the Aftermath

"The glamorous life of trauma medicine," Hannibal answered wryly. "Dinah said you study medicine - are you in your residency yet, or still working toward your degree?" He swung his first-aid kit off his shoulder and opened it, pulling out gloves first (and handing her a pair if she wasn't already wearing any). "I thought I'd only be using this thing for the bandages."

Re: And the Aftermath

"Just started med school," Gabby admitted. "I graduated with my four-year degree in May, with Dinah." She grinned at him. "She gives me a lot of practice patching up small stuff when she doesn't want to tell her family she got hurt. But I'm looking forward to doing surgery. You know, in a few thousand years."

Re: And the Aftermath

Hannibal chuckled. "It goes faster than you'd think. But meanwhile, should someone need stitches or painkillers, let me know." He looked around at the chaos. "How quick are the first responders here?"

Re: And the Aftermath

"This part of town, pretty damn fast. But I don't know how far around the police or the mess that guy made they'll have to go." Gabby made a face, and waved over another person who looked vaguely traumatized. "I'm giving it about fifteen before I send someone out to track down the nearest ambulance, I'm guessing a hundred people already called 911."

Re: And the Aftermath

Hannibal nodded. "I'll take a look through the area and see if I can find anyone who couldn't make it back here." He pulled out his card and handed it to her. "I have my phone; let me know if you need me."
