New Gotham, Saturday
"Braaaaaains," Dinah chanted at Gabby. "Huuuuuuungrrrrryyy..."

"You need more blood on your face, hold still," her roomie answered.

The accoutrements of zombification were everywhere around their apartment. As well as the canned goods needed for their entry fee.

Now all they needed was an army.

[ooc: for those going zombie-walking! threads up in a second.]

Re: Meet Up at the Cathedral Square Apartment

"Ooowahhh," Momoko stumbled into the room, rubbing her face. "So noisy! Is breakfast ready yet?"

Re: Meet Up at the Cathedral Square Apartment

Dinah turned to say hi, and her eyes widened hugely. Camille gave a very confused meow.

"Sure. Momoko." Um. Um. Um?

"Yay! Are there any of those huge chocolate chip muffins?" Momoko didn't catch Dinah's hesitation - she was a bit distracted by the fact that her face felt a little weird... Huh. Maybe she slept on it wrong? No, it felt different from that.. almost like when she was... Ahahah!

SHE WAS A BOY!!

Momoko wasn't sure she was supposed to be, but she was very amused. And actually kind of happy? She didn't have to explain this to Mrs Wilson! At least not until she went home tomorrow.

Dinah had a bad case of the giggles now, because Momoko's recovery was so smooth, and she was remembering last year, and hey! Okay! First person to ask, was going to get the truth! Momoko spontaneously changed gender!

"... yes there are huge muffins."

Gabby was blinking. A lot. And then facepalming, because she knew this happened to Dinah sometimes. "Bring Camille over so we can cover her in pathetic wounds."

Or she was her own twin brother! Hey, she had a clone already so why not?

"You're not going to put make up on her, are you?" Momoko whined, her... his hand reaching up to check his hair. Yep. short and weird. He shrugged, smiling slightly. This had happened so many times, it was almost easy to accept now. "Totally glad I'm not in Glacia this weekend, though."

"Pet-safe liquid chalk and jam. She'll probably love it, the little diva," Gabby called back. "...wait. Weren't you guys there this time, last year?"

Dinah coughed, and the words 'maybewewere' might have slipped out.

Camille was glaring at Gabby. And wriggling. The claws weren't out yet, though.

"If she's anything like Moshi, you'll be bleeding for real by the time we leave. And finding dead things in your shoes for weeks. It's totally a fur thing."

Camille was sulking now, and flexing her paws. Gabby expertly avoided them and snapped on rubber gloves. "Give it up, Duchess, I'm immune," she told the cat. She dabbed black chalk onto Camille's white fur, and then distracted her by putting jam on her paws.

That kept her occupied for a bit.

"You got enough clothes to get by for this?" Dinah asked in an undertone.

"I have to be back in El Paso tomorrow anyway," Momoko nodded. "I was going to tell you when I got here, but that layover..." he rolled his eyes.

"I have a big test on Monday, so I need to study. I'll have to avoid Mrs Wilson, though. If my mom punched me when she first saw me like this, I'd hate to know what Mrs Wilson would do."

"Soooo crash on Jaime's couch." Dinah grinned. "And text Mrs. Wilson that you'll be back on Monday. And it's fine, you know that, I'm just glad you could make it to our silliness this time."

Momoko's grin was totally evil. "You know, I totally should? He stayed with me the whole time he was a girl. He totally deserves me for one day!"

"It's been forever since I've visited you here; of course I came!" He leaned over and hugged Dinah.
