Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Ah, but you're the one looking for something. Not me. I'm totally satisfied."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"You are?" Jaime shrugged. "I guess I should wander off and find someone who isn't, then..."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Momoko raised an eyebrow that totally let him know that he'd better not actually find anyone. "And give me back my cake?"

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Oh, no," Jaime shook his head. "I definitely haven't seen anything that would get me to trade it, and you've just expressed your disinterest in doing any trading, so..."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"You're the one who said you had something more special and then failed to produce." Momoko shook her head sadly. Oh so sadly. "Not even a sample I could use to judge by."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Jaime grinned. "Well, I've got cake. So if someone was trying to find something more special than cake so that they could have some cake, I think it might have to be you." His grin turned into a smirk. "Who has no cake."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"But you have my cake," Momoko pointed out. "So you should give me something in return."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Huh. Looks like it's my cake, now," Jaime said with a smirk.

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Then you owe me something in return." Logic!

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Jaime glanced pointedly down at the cake. "Actually, I've got everything I want."

Not even close to true...

Re: The party at the Clocktower

She fluttered her eyes at the cake him. "And something I want."

You should fix that, Jaime.

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"I already suggested that you could offer me something better for it, but since you haven't..." Jaime shrugged, finally reaching down to pick up the fork that was on the plate.

Re: The party at the Clocktower

No! Her caaaaake...

She reached out and let her own hand lightly cover his. "Jaime?" Her voice was soft and plaintive.

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Jaime paused at her touch, the fork stabbed into the cake, but not actually slicing off a bite.

"Hmm?" he asked, looking up at her.

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Eyes, Jaime. EYES.

You're eating her cake.
