Re: The party at the Clocktower

"I don't get hosts. Or their humor. Well, except Ellen DeGeneres. Because those Oscar instagrams were hilarious." Dinah Tk'd another plate of food to herself, and asked, "So when are you gonna be here to visit the campus?"

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Couple of weeks," Priestly said. "I'll give you warning, don't worry."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Dinah gave him a small smile. She wanted to say he didn't need to. And it was almost true.

"Just give me a chance to get stuff ready so we have clean sheets and all." She was quiet, then held up the wrist with the bracelet. "And so I can be sure to have this on. I've been wearing it more lately, but. Pays to know."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Priestly winced a little at the bracelet. He didn't want her to feel she had to wear it.

But it also made him feel slightly safer that she did.

"That's the plan."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Dinah nodded, and let her hand drop to her lap. "I could still be heard a tiny bit through this, when I checked it with Jaime. But barely more than a whisper, even when I was screaming my brains out inside my head. And I couldn't hear him either."

She took a bite of popcorn, and said, "Maybe, next month. Maybe we can talk about the rest of it."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

Priestly nodded. "Don't wanna put a damper on your party."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Yeah. It's an involved topic." And a private one. So. "But I'm glad. That you came for my party."

Re: The party at the Clocktower

"Hey." Priestly tipped his head to make sure they were eye to eye and smiled. "I wouldn't miss it for any world."
